Miniatures museum of Taipei

If you wan’t to feel like a giant, go to the miniature museum. This museum has been created by couple that had a passion for miniatures and travelled the world. In this museum you can see all kind of famous places from around the world created in a miniature version. Its a fun museum to visit. The miniature museum is to be found in the Zhongshan district of Taipei.

Evergreen maritime museum

Here you can learn alot about all different kind of maritime vessels and ships. There is for example a whole floor just for the history of all the different kind ships and their evolution throughout the history. There is also a lot of old artifacts to be found about boats, gear and old art about maritime history. The location of this museum is in Zhongzheng district.

National Taiwan museum

The national Taiwan museum is the oldest museum in Taiwan and was build during the colonization of the Japanese in 1908. In this museum you find out more about the natural and humanitair development of Taiwan. A lot of important cultural artifacts are to be found in this museum and its used as a educational establishment. The museum is also located in the Zhongzheng district.

Taipei fine arts museum

The Taipei arts museum is the first museum that Taiwan build for contemporary art back in 1983. The museum itself is located in the Zhongshan district in the Taipei expo park. At night the museum is beautifuly decorated with lights and is a real eye catcher. You can find here Taiwanese and international art exhibitions.
